Sunday, August 14, was a special day for St. Paul as the Board of Christian Education kicked off the new year under the Banner of YEAR TO SERVE.

At 9:15am in the basement, the congregation gathered for a special multi-generational time of fellowship.

After that, the children broke off into small groups to familiarize themselves with their new Sunday classrooms. They wrote their names on their service aprons and cleaned out the Narthex bags. These bags are freely available with Christian-themed activities to keep little hands busy during service.

During service, teachers and children of St. Paul participated in a blessing of the backpacks.

‘… serve one another in love.’ Galatians 5:13
